Playing Outside!

Parker loves to be outside. This weekend we spent lots of time outdoors. Between working in the yard, playing with friends, and swimming we spent time everyday outside. Here are some cute pics of Parker playing out front.

He discovered ants. He points at them and calls them "buhs," also known as bugs. Luckily they were small, non-biting ants.

Parker helping Daddy with the landscaping. Parker loves lawn mowers! He frequently mows the carpet and tile indoors as well.

Parker running down the sidewalk. He's a fast one!!

"All done outside, Mama! Juice Peas!"

Watch Out Tiger Woods!

Someone should warn Tiger Woods. There's a new golf prodigy on the horizon....it's Parker! He has really been enjoying his first set of golf clubs. He also wants to be outside all the time, and this is more fun than looking at the grass. I've been trying to teach him the game of Golf.
Stop laughing!! I know a little bit about sports. Although, he does yell "Goal" every time he hits the ball, so maybe Andy should take over....
Here he's putting, or is it driving?? He's hitting the ball with the club!

Here's Parker's "Hole in One." He picks up the ball, and in one movement, puts it in the cup.

The golf clubs also come in handy when you need to point out the planes flying overhead.

What a fun, precious boy!!

Elmo Please!!

Parker has recently discovered Elmo. He has quite a passion for this red furry monster. I'm not sure how many times a day I hear "Momo Peas??" (which translates to Elmo Please) And since I'm such a sucker....at least once a day, Parker is allowed to watch a few minutes of an Elmo Movie. Who could resist those puppy dog eyes?

Now Parker has decided he needs to watch Elmo, with his Elmo book, Elmo doll and Elmo sippy cup. While I know somewhere marketing execs are jumping up and down, I'm starting to worry that he may be a little too attached to Elmo....

I love that he's always amazed to see Elmo. He's practically memorized the DVD and yet he's shocked to see Elmo on TV.

And this picture is one of my absolute favorites! Elmo was dancing up a storm on TV, so Parker decided he needed some juice. And since I'm pretty sure he learned the sharing thing from Elmo, maybe not all TV is bad for kids.

Parker's New Toy...Mom's New Mess!

Every week we go to the Gymboree play & music classes. Parker loves them! His favorite thing to play with (or in) is the ball pit. He will spend most of the class there...when mom isn't making him try the other activites! I decided Parker needed one at home. One trip to Super Walmart later....Tada! Here is Parker's new favorite toy.I love that he's so happy in his ball pit. I recall many happy hours spent there when I was young. There's only one problem. It took Parker about 5 seconds to discover throwing the balls out of the pit and all over the house. I keep finding them everywhere! In cabinets, drawers, under the furniture, he even put one in the dishwasher. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to give him 200 plastic balls...
